What is the One in Eleven Appeal?
Do you know someone locally whose baby was born prematurely, underweight or with other complications? The chances are you might.
Approximately 3,000 babies are born at Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust each year with one in eleven needing additional support – ranging from a few hours of special care to a few weeks in an intensive care unit.
The Mid Cheshire Hospitals Charity One in Eleven Appeal aims to raise £1million for a new Neonatal Intensive Care Unit to enhance the facilities at Mid Cheshire Hospitals.
Every penny raised from this campaign will go towards a new Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Leighton Hospital so families can feel safe, comfortable and more able to deal with the anxiety of such an emotional time. Our new facilities will help ensure that we are able to continue to serve our local community in the long term. |
